Ty42 no.1 This is the loco that I was allowed to drive for about 14km. Seeing me in the cab, and asking to be
allowed to work the injector (being an amateur fireman at home) I was stuffed in the driver's seat and instructed
to get on with it (I think) in Polish! I was, of course, under constant supervision, but allowed to bring the train into the station with only a few doses of assistant braking from the Driver!
