Taken on 3/5/99 on a Bank holiday (and Thomas Day, to boot) this shot is of one of the pair of "Yankee" tanks crossing New Mill Channel. This bridge is the famous 1029 for which many a money-raisiing effort was mounted in the line's early days. Don't knock Thomas (the tank engine) either - he is the best thing for preserved railways since Beeching!
