This is the maternity ward (the old water mill) at the height of its short season of business. Well, not that short - lambing in '06 went from 4/2/06 to 29/5/06. but at the height of it we had about 16 lambs in here, with the ewes. Straw and hay was kept upstairs but water had to be carried. . . .
