Here is "Fluffy" a wee lamb that constituted part of the "Waifs and strays" department. This includes all that have special needs, like they have no mother and need milk still, or they have an injury or disability. It even included a Ewe that had a twisted mouth, couldn't eat and nearly died. Unfortunately "Fluffy" got a taste for "cake" rather late in life, and gobbled too much, and died! Jane was devastated, but made up for it with "Midge" seen here on the right, also drinking from bottle. Midge was brought in one frightful March day, having been abandoned by here Mum and left shivering in a corner of the field. Several rolls of kitchen towels later, the Rayburn warmed her up so as to take an interest in life again.
