PROJECT

Well, one day we had a pick-up arrive
at the field, and about 18 ewes and 28 lambs tumbled out and set off to eat
grass as much and as soon as possible. We soon identified one as "Ears" because
all that could be seen of her was two black ears in the long grass! Ears is
very independant, which we attribute to an inadequate supply of milk by Mum.
She ranges far and wide for her vittles, and was never seen to suckle until her
twin died one day, and a little milk was available. she still wanders, and no
fence or gate stops her because she is so small!![]()
